Nandita Kalra

Supervising Counseling Psychologist

Nandita Kalra has completed her MA in Psychology from Ambedkar University, Delhi, an Advanced Diploma in Counselling Psychology from Jamia Millia Islamia, Delhi, and an additional degree in Community Mental Health from NIMHANS, Bangalore. She is fluent in English and Hindi.

She’s a trauma-informed and queer-affirmative psychologist. Her areas of expertise include clinical depression, anxiety disorders, OCD, sexual disorders, body image issues, eating and sleep disorders, grief, trauma, relationship and marital problems, narcissistic abuse, attachment issues, addictions and compulsions, gender identity and sexual orientation, perfectionism, workplace issues, and self-exploration using integrative therapies. She has worked with people aged 20 to 55 years. Along with individual therapy, she also does couple therapy. Her eclectic approach addresses the subjective needs of individuals.

Her therapeutic approach is grounded in empathy, contextual understanding, and a non-pathologizing perspective. She doesn’t view symptoms in isolation — she seeks to understand the personal and relational stories that give rise to them. She believes each client’s experience is unique and shaped by their individual context. Her work focuses on creating a compassionate, collaborative space where clients feel safe to explore their emotions, patterns, and inner world at their own pace.
