We Heard You

"The best relationships need work. There is no shame in taking therapy — we all go through ups and downs, and I am glad we took help when we needed it. It has brought the 'us' back in us."
—  Shivam and Nargis

"Our relationship was getting really toxic even though we loved each other. The psychologist made us understand our unhealthy and angry habits. We are able to recognise the spaces which caused distress and have been working on them together now."
— Smriti and Puneet

"My partner and I had been struggling to communicate effectively for months. Through couples therapy, we were finally able to work through our issues. We're now closer than before and I'm so grateful to Rocket Health for helping us get back on track."
— Anousha and Harleen

"Rocket Health's psychologist was a lifesaver for us. We were on the brink of divorce and didn't know how to fix our relationship. But after therapy, we understood each other better. "

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Couples Therapy?
Plus Icon

Couples therapy is a form of psychotherapy that is aimed at helping couples resolve conflicts and strengthen their relationship. Couples counseling can be an essential therapeutic approach for couples who are struggling with communication issues, conflict, or other challenges in their relationship.

How does Couples Therapy work? 💑🏻
Plus Icon

Couples therapy often includes frequent sessions with a therapist to explore concerns in your relationship. The therapist will help you and your partner in expressing more efficiently, addressing conflict, and deeper understanding each other.

How long does Couples Therapy last? 🤔
Plus Icon

When the therapist and the couple feels that they are ready to explore their relationship in a collaborative manner, a joint session is scheduled. During this time both or one partner may continue with more individual sessions. Couples therapy may last for 10–12 sessions, although some couples may need more or less depending on the severity of their issues. The length of time depends on the amount of effort a couple is willing to put in.

Can we go to couples therapy even if my partner and I don't have any problems?
Plus Icon

Without a doubt! Often, partners work well together but seek counseling to build or improve a certain aspect of their relationship. Couples counseling can help strengthen an already strong relationship.

Can we do only individual or only joint sessions?
Plus Icon

No. Our model is designed to give both of you space and support, one individual session each, followed by a joint session is required. We’ve found this flow creates the safest and most effective foundation for relationship work. It ensures both partners feel heard before you come together.

What if my partner is hesitant?
Plus Icon

It’s completely normal for one partner to feel unsure. We often start with individual sessions so each of you can ease in at your own pace. You don’t need to have it all figured out, just a willingness to explore is enough.

Will the therapist take sides?
Plus Icon

Never. Our therapists are trained to remain neutral and compassionate. Their role is to help you both feel safe, seen, and supported, not to blame or side with anyone.

Can we switch therapists if it doesn't feel like the right fit?
Plus Icon

Yes. Therapist-client fit matters a lot. If you feel the vibe isn’t right after the first session, we’ll help you switch. No questions asked.

Do we need to be married or in a long-term relationship?
Plus Icon

Nope. You can be dating, engaged, married, living apart, or exploring something new. If you’re trying to better understand or strengthen your dynamic, couples therapy can help.

What should I expect during my first session of Couples Therapy?
Plus Icon

The first session is an evaluation in which we gather information about you and your companion. We normally meet with couples individually in the first session to learn about their relationship history. When the therapist and the couple feels that they are ready to explore their relationship in a collaborative manner, a joint session is scheduled. During this time both or one partner may continue with more individual sessions.

Can I come for a couples therapy without my partner?
Plus Icon

It is often helpful if both partners are willing to participate in therapy, but it is not necessary. We frequently meet folks in relationships on a 1:1 level. Individual sessions often help in our understanding of you as an individual, enabling us to better understand you in the context of your relationship. It can be booked from here

Is this therapy LGBTQ+ friendly?
Plus Icon

Absolutely. We are an inclusive and safe space for all gender identities and relationship types. Our therapists are trained to understand the unique dynamics in every kind of relationship.
