Counseling Psychologist
Hi, I’m Aseesinder (she/her). If you’ve found your way here, maybe something’s been feeling a little too heavy lately.
Maybe you’re overwhelmed, stuck in old patterns, or simply trying to make sense of things. Whatever brings you here, I want you to know you don’t have to figure it out alone.
I’m a counselling psychologist with an MSc in Mental Health Studies from King’s College London. I’ve trained with the NHS (South London & Maudsley) and worked across hospitals, helplines, care homes, and community mental health spaces. These experiences have shaped not just how I work, but how I listen.
My approach is eclectic, drawing from various modalities including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
What that really means is, I adapt our work based on what you need. Some days, that might look like unpacking early patterns and emotional blocks and other days, it’s about making sense of your thoughts, setting boundaries, or reconnecting with parts of yourself you’ve had to quiet down.
I’m a queer-affirmative therapist because identity, in all its layered, personal, evolving forms, is something I hold close.
Whether you’re exploring your gender, sexuality, culture, family roles, or something you haven’t yet found words for, there’s space for it here, just as it is.
Therapy with me isn’t about fixing you. It’s about understanding you. Making space for the parts you’ve had to hide, and slowly, gently, finding a way forward that feels more like you.
I speak English, Hindi, and Punjabi. If any of this resonates with you, I’d be honoured to meet you where you are.
Take your time. I’ll be here when you’re ready.

Hobbies: When I’m not in session, you’ll probably find me with a glass of lemon water, trying out a new watercolour idea, and usually messing it up in the best way, because I paint for joy, not perfection. Yoga keeps me grounded, and cafe hopping is my idea of comfort. Most of all, I love lazy cuddles and playful chaos with my two fur babies, a dog and a cat who fully believe they run the house (and they’re not wrong).
